Countable nouns have a plural: books, eggs. Uncountable nouns include water, rice and money.

Use many or much especially in questions and negatives.

01 Correct the quantifier

Write only the correct replacement for the word in brackets.

Example: How much information? (not how many information)

3.We have very energy left. (few)

5.There is not furniture here. (many)

02 A positive or negative meaning?

Write few, a few, little or a little using the clue.

1.We have time, but enough to finish. (some)
2. pupils came; the room was almost empty. (almost no)
3.She knows French, so she can order a meal. (some)
4.We have chairs, but enough for our small group. (some)

03 Fewer or less?

Use fewer for countable plurals and less for uncountable nouns.

1.We use paper now.
2.There are cars today.

4.This text has spelling mistakes.
